Bradford Kickstart and Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI)

Bradford Chamber is actively involved in Bradford Council's regeneration initiative which was awarded £21.4m by central Government to tackle unemployment and develop an enterprise culture in the Bradford district.

Kickstart provides help to people who would like to find out whether or not working for themselves might be better than being out of work or perhaps on benefits. Lots of people do not know what being self-employed might mean and would like some help with finding a business idea, working out who their customers might be and what they could sell and how much they could earn.
